Outdoor Pool

The St. Iakovos Retreat Center features a beautiful ADA accessible pool with a 36-person capacity. The pool and adjacent patio area is available to all guests during the summer season.

Fields, Courts & Sports Equipment

There are a variety of sports fields and activity courts located on the facility. Guests of the St. Iakovos Retreat Center have the opportunity to engage in baseball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and horseshoes. 

Barn Visit & Animal Petting

The farm is located on the north end of the Retreat Center. Complete with three working fields, this area of the facility also has a barn filled with animals. Guests have the opportunity to visit, learn about agriculture, as well as feed and pet the animals. **HINT – many of the animals love carrots and apples!**

Campfire Pit

The St. Iakovos Retreat Center offers a campfire pit giving guests the opportunity to share in fellowship and a sweet snack! 

Equestrian education  

The St. Iakovos Retreat Center is the home to three horses of varying breed as well as two miniature ponies. Guests visiting the barn have the opportunity to meet these magnificent animals and learn about them.

Pine Tree Forest & Walking Trails

The entire property is linked by an intricate network of walking trails for up to a 3 mile walk without ever leaving the property. Additionally, featured on these trails are reflection and meditation opportunities at over fourteen beautiful hand-carved Proskinitarion, each dedicated to a different saint of the Orthodox Christian Faith.

Wagon Rides

Guests have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscape via hay wagon pulled by Big Blue, the center's tractor! Accommodating about 20 people at a time, this is a great way to experience our trails, woods, and the most scenic views!
